Mary (not real name) arrived at the shelter several months ago, weighing only 58 pounds covered with wounds from those who had abused her. She slowly began to recover from the nightmare of sex trafficking,   learned to trust our staff and open up about her pain. Mary gained weight and grew in confidence. ...Sadly, it’s still not an easy road for Mary. Just this week she made some unwise choices that put her back in touch with a man who has the power to return her to the world of bondage. ...Ask God to shepherd Mary’s heart as she walks the razor’s edge between life and death. Our prayers are the most powerful weapon in this day to day struggle." Written by a director of a shelter.

Until the pimps can tell they have broken their spirit. Yet once broken it doesn't stop...they are still being abused in every other way as well mentally, verbally, physically etc. This type of room of torture is what IJM found below. What an exciting ministry to be a part of! To equip these beautiful children of God to be mothers, ministers, missionaries... to spread the gospel of GOOD NEWS through equipping them to spread the gospel !!   

My mind, as a midwife, goes immediately to wishing for a maternity home & birth center for these girls & ladies!! From the 1st video it sounds like they have apartments set up for the mamas. I want too love on them, care for them, mother them, nurture them, so they in turn can learn to nurture their babies.
